First opened in 1934 and recently upgraded to a brand new lift in 2014, the Pleney gondola offers access in both winter and summer from the centre of Morzine into the linked areas of Pleney, Nyon, Chamoissiere and Les Gets.
Recently upgraded to a brand new lift, the Chavannes gondola offers access winter from the centre of Les Gets into the linked areas of Les Gets, Morzine, Nyon and Chamoissiere.
The Super Morzine gondola offers access from Morzine's centre onto the runs that super-morzine Avoriaz. From here, explore the full Ski area of the Portes Du Soleil into Switzerland and back to France.
The Prodains cable car takes you directly up into the middle of Avoriaz, this has been recently upgraded in 2013. At the bottom there is a large car park and a bus stop for the navettes back to Morzine.

A free train operates as a shuttle in the centre of Morzine, carrying you and your skis between the Pleney and Super Morzine Gondolas. The train runs every 10mins approximately.
Enjoy a gentle tour, or a unique "Taxi" ride in the back of a horse drawn carriage in Morzine or sleigh in Avoriaz.

There is a local Market every Wednesday morning in Morzine at the Post Office car park & in Les Gets every Thursday morning, next to the Chamois Hotel. Here amongst traditional butchers, fishmongers and grocers, you will find local produce such as tasty cheeses and fine sausages.
Don't get caught out with dirty laundry! Self Service washing machines and driers are available in the laundrettes beside the Tourist Office and on the Rue Du Bourg, infront of Dixie's Bar.

Here you will find an indoor Ice Skating rink, gym, climbing wall and indoor swimming pool. For more information click here.
During the winter, the square outside the tourist office is turned into outdoor Ice Skating rink.
With its source in the hills above Morzine, the river Dranse runs down the valley into Lake Geneva, providing a playground for white water rafting any hydropeeding from April onwards.
In winter the Nyon waterfall freezes over creating a beautiful natural ice sculpture.
In the summer it provides a base for canyoning; abseiling, jumping and sliding your way down the water's natural path.
Take a stroll through Morzine's beautiful Dérêches Forest, or if you are feeling particularly sporty, try the fitness trail that runs alongside the river, starting from the swimming pool.
